Discipline

Today we watched a video about a High School Softball game. During this game a young lady named Sarah (I think), never got a home run. In this game she got her first and last. During the excitement she pasted First with out touching. While Turning around she tore a ligiment causing her to fall at first. Once down two of the opposing team members carried her around the bases. Giving her the run.
In sports a person needs a few things. Lots of practice, determination, and discipline. I my mind these girls showed discipline. My stake president has a famous saying with all of the youth. It is his definition of discipline. It is actually pretty cool. He states "Discipline is doing what you don't want to do, when you don't want to do it, because you know you should." These young women should discipline. They were competeing for the championship. They had full rights to be angrey about this. For because of this home run they lost. But the knew it was right. For this was something she desierved. It was the right thing to do. Even though most would think it was hard carring the opposing team around. They must have felt something great within while they were do this grand deed. They showed discipline.
